Palliser Bay Surfcasting Club

PBSC was formed December 2016, we started with about 20 members and with a little advertising  the club has grown exponentially ever since, with now a constant 100 plus membership.

Our boundaries   A line east from the Patea River mouth on the west coast, to Blackhead point on the East coast, at the northern end of Porangahau Beach. And all the areas south in the North Island.

We average one club weekend per month, which are a mixture of “fish together’s” and” fish anywhere” within club boundaries,  we also have interclub challenges between Feilding and Sth Wairarapa clubs. We hold an annual postal casting day in February each year, this is run  by the NZACA, and is open to all affiliated clubs.

Each year the Palliser Club produce a huge delegation to attend NZACA Nationals event

we also encourage all members to strive for NZ Fishing records and National records

Above all else we strive to be a family oriented club, Catering for Great grandparents right down to toddlers  with camaraderie our main objective
