The Kiwi Fishing Club was formed, is owned and managed by the Executive of the Association to cater for those keen fishers who are unable to join a regular local fishing club, predominantly because of location but not solely that and who would like to fish for New Zealand Records and compete for the many  trophies, pins,and certificates open to New Zealand Angling and Casting Association members, while at the same time helping the NZACA in it’s negotiations with Government and Local Authorities on behalf of amateur fishermen and woman throughout New Zealand. The Association expects those applying to join, to have sought the location of their nearest Affiliated Club and if it is within a reasonable distance of the applicants residence to have applied for membership of that Club. Not withstanding that, the applicant is free to join any affiliated club. If there is an Affiliated club close to the Applicant and they do not wish to, or can’t join that club then they need to provide the Executive of the association, in writing, fair and valid reasons as to why. The NZ Angling & Casting Association inc. has the right to accept or deny an application.

Members of the Kiwi Fishing Club may take part in the NZ Angling & Casting Association inc. Annual Fishing and Casting Champs and can become the New Zealand Fishing or Casting Champion. Members may not form Teams.

All Kiwi Club members are classed as individual affiliates to the NZ Angling & casting Association inc and receive copies of Association newsletters, NZ Records application forms.
